The band has played at many high profile shows over the last few years, including the City of Nashville's Fourth of July Bash and as an opening act for Bruce Springsteen at the Meadowlands in New Jersey. Stretta was also picked by the Saturn Corp. to kick off the Bon Jovi/Daughtry concert at the Sommet Arena in Nashville. Recently, Stretta also performed along side Jason Aldeen, Chris Young, Mandisa from American Idol and the one and only Garth Brooks at the Walmart corporations 4 day national logistics meetings. Teri, the group’s lead vocalist and keyboard player,was born a third generation family member of the world famous Southern Gospel singing family, The Speer Family. In the course of a now thirty year career she has excelled in both solo and group environments, including a year long tour as a back up singer with Country Legend Ronnie Milsap.Teri has appeared on a number of television shows, including her own hour long showcase on WSMV TV called, 'Music City Showcase'. In addition she has worked on the 'American Magazine' program, on the nationally syndicated Nashville Network, The Phil Donahue Show, and The Grand Ole Opry. Teri was also voted ‘Nashville’s Best Piano Bar Performer’ three years in a row by the readers of the Nashville Scene.
